Cycling Team Kit - 2023

Kansanshi/First Quantum Minerals

This kit was designed in accordance with First Quantum Minerals’ (FQM) corporate brand guidelines. I wanted to create a kit that was sleek and professional; something that would allow the athletes to feel belonging and pride as they assimilated, as minorities, into the elite cycling world.

There were two key design elements: first, the topographic lines that abstracted ideas within mining and exploration; and second, the bright yellow arrow on the back, which is both an FQM brand element, and a safety feature for visibility on the road. As the athletes ride in a peloton, the arrow is a striking and clear symbol for them to follow.
